No interest in discovery, only conforming to what was to be expected in the experience, measuring up to the criterion of the event. Want only their experience certified as being genuine. “This is it, this is acceptable, you got it, good for you.”
The consumer is content to receive an experience as it has been presented to him ... a consumer of prepared experiences. The thing is lost through its packaging.
